Terms and Conditions

1. Purchase Necessary. The Fareconnect.com Giveaway Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by Fareconnect.com Inc (the "Sponsor"). The Contest begins at 12:00:00 AM (EST) on January1 5, 2015 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on December 31, 2015 (the "Contest Period").
2. ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Contest and be eligible to win, a person must, at the time of entry, be a legal resident of Canada who has reached the age of majority in the province/territory in which he/she resides. Specifically excluded from entering the Contest are: (i) employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and advertising and promotional agencies of the Sponsor, the independent contest organization, and each of their respective subsidiaries and affiliates; and (ii) a member of any such person's immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (whether related to the person or not). In these official rules and regulations (the "Official Rules"), "immediate family" includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse regardless of where they reside.
3. TO ENTER: There are three requirements to enter the Contest:
   1. Purchase: Purchase a new pre-packaged vacation booking (the "Booking") for any travel date online from Fareconnect.com or through a Fareconnect.com travel agent during the Contest Period to receive one (1) entry into the Contest (the "Entry") for the Grand Prize Draw.
   2. Facebook: Like Fareconnect.com on Facebook; and
   3. Subscribe to the Fareconnect.com Mailing List.

Limit of one (1) entry per person per booking for purchase entries during the Contest Period.

1. Grand Prize: The Grand Prize will consist of the reimbursement of the purchase made by the winner for his/her Booking up to a maximum value of $5,000.00 (CDN). Actual value will depend on the cost of the Booking excluding any insurance or excursions. Any additions or changes to Bookings purchased that may occur during the Booking's specified purchase dates, must be paid in full at time of booking. If full payment is not received by Fareconnect.com by the contest end date you will no longer be entitled to participate in the Grand Prize Give Away contest. Winner will be required to provide proof of purchase in the form of an invoice to verify the Purchase Price. For greater certainty, the person who purchased the trip will be deemed an entrant in the Contest and will receive one (1) Entry. In the event several trips are purchased during one (1) transaction, the person who purchases the trips will be deemed the entrant and will only receive one (1) Entry. Trips that are not eligible for the Grand Prize draw are:
   1. Flights only;
   2. Flights and car only;
   3. Hotels only;
   4. Hotels & cars only; and
   5. Insurance only.

Prizes must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part, for cash, except where provided.

1. DRAWING: One (1) random draw will be held on 01 January 2016. If the selected winner fails to meet one of the three requirements in Para 3, then he/she will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected until such time as a winner is confirmed or there are no more eligible, whichever comes first.
2. The winner will also be required to sign a declaration and release form (the "Release Form") confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Grand Prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Sponsor, its dealers, affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest organization and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability in connection with a Grand Prize or the Contest. The Release Form must be returned within the time period specified on the Release Form or the Grand Prize may be forfeited. Delivery of the Grand Prize (if purchase made by the Winner) will be mailed in the form of a cheque, by the Sponsor, 10 business days after the date of the winner's departure of his/her Booking, upon receipt of the Release Form.
3. GENERAL: By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the contest organization, with respect to all aspects of the contest, including, without limitation, eligibility and/or disqualification of entries, which are final and binding, without right of appeal.
4. By entering and accepting the Grand Prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province/territory) and/or photograph without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to the Contest.
5. The Sponsor and the contest organization will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete or destroyed entries: all such entries are void. The Sponsor and the contest organization will not be liable for any failure of the Sponsor's Website, do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of booking or entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof or any e-mail message or other communication sent or received during the Contest Period, for any reason. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. The use of an invalid email address will disqualify the entry. Users spamming the same email address will disqualify the entry. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder (defined below) of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is: assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the email address submitted with the selected entry. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid entry in this Contest will be the contest server machine(s). In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.
6. The Sponsor reserves the right, the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (the "Régie") in the Province of Québec, to terminate or suspend, or amend this Contest at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, including as a result of tampering or infection by computer virus, the Sponsor reserves the right, with the consent of the Regie, to terminate the Contest and conduct the draws from all previously received eligible entries received by the termination date. The Sponsor and the independent contest organization shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest.
7. RESIDENTS OF QUEBEC: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a Prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
8. All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into, except with the selected entrants. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws.
9. The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor to administer the Contest and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide the entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from the Sponsor.
